About Us

Hello!  We are Karen and Karen.

Karen Vasil-Busch, LMT is a “random abstract” thinker, perhaps because she was born with Aquarius Rising.  In college she studied Icelandic Literature primarily because of its rich matriarchal lineage and egalitarian society, which prompted her to visit the Land of Ice and Snow.  Iceland has already had its first female president, and has enacted legislation that insures equal pay for women.

Thirty-five years ago she visited the Pine Tree State for a holistic event, The Maine Healing Arts Festival, and was introduced to a number of new age practices, including trance channeling and firewalking.  This festival, held annually from 1979 until 2004, became a big part of her life and the reason for her relocation to Maine, as she became the Executive Director of the event.

In 1998 she traveled to India to participate in one of the oldest of festivals, Khumba Mela, where she embraced all things healing from this Asian subcontinent.

As a massage therapist, she continued her studies to include Ayurveda and Yoga.  She is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, nationally registered Ayurvedic Practitioner and Certified Yin Yoga teacher.  “I believe that our evolution as human beings is ongoing and cyclical.  Living in harmony with the Earth, Gaia, means honoring this unique landscape, both internally and externally.”

Karen Anderson has studied Astrology since her youth.  This ancient art form intrigues her.  She has served as president of the western states’ chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research, one of the world’s largest astrological organizations.  She has Level III certification from this group.  Astrology as her life career path has proved to be as instructive for her as it has for her clients.  Karen blended the oracle of Tarot into her readings in her 20’s.  She has the gift of seeing past life times.  She works with spirit guides.  Her master’s degree is in Counseling and Psychology, with a holistic emphasis.  Her goal is to provide insights, information and spiritual pathways for her clients.

Serving as Program Director for the Maine Healing Arts Festival brought her into contact with dozens of highly skilled new age practitioners.

The astrological transition from the Age of Pisces into the new age of Aquarius is at its cusp.  The gathering of the flowers of the past age into a bouquet creates the tools for navigating the Aquarian Age.  These art forms – yoga, astrology and others- allow us to achieve multi-dimensionality.
